I was fishing with … I was fishing with my brother in law on Bayou Goola (spelling?) just off the intercoastal. Some fellas went by in their boat and said something. I looked at my brother in law and asked, “What’d they say?” He replied, “They asked how we were doing.” Could not have proven it by me but they were very friendly folk and the fishing was great! Most beautiful place!
Yes, yes… … Yes, yes… Acadiana folks do talk like that. I’m from Baton Rouge and love that coon accent!!!! GEAUX TIGERS, GEAUX SAINTS!!! Damn, I miss home!!!!
um yes we do talk … um yes we do talk like that in lousisiana..only in acadiana..especially the old ppl..we just dont act dat stupid.. the accent is right on
